Summary: Several short stories of Shinichi and Ran. In the main story titled Angel Ring, Ran is celebrating something (Christmas maybe) at the Kudo residence. She’s holding a gift. In what seems like flashbacks, she remembers something about Shinichi that makes her cry. Ran continues to cry as she walks through the snow. Shinichi’s waiting for her at a corner. Ran gets angry at him, but he calms her down by whispering in her ear. In the last panel is a ring inscribed with “S to R” (maybe that’s his Christmas gift to her?).
Art: Rino’s art is marked by youthful, puffy cheeks. Her work is displayed on the cover of this dj. Art is simple and clean. Houzuki’s art feels a little more detailed.  It’s hard to explain, but it’s very nice. No puffy cheeks for this artist! There’s at least three different art styles in here, but I can’t read the names of the other artists. 
Yummy factor: One very risqué picture of Ran bending over Shinichi in bed. Risqué because she’s naked and well, it’s just a really interesting position…
Comments: Conan rarely makes an appearance, so I think most of these stories take place before Shinichi meets the Black Organization. The stories are sweet, though Ran tends to bicker or cry in each of them.

Comments: The art is busy and kind of messy, but it's still appealing. Several short stories that give an overall chaotic kind of feel. Aside from the characters on the covers, there's quite a bit of cameos of the DC cast (Agasa, Detective Boys, Sonoko, Makoto, Kaitou Kid, etc). There is an image of Heiji in a schoolgirl uniform. O.O With the blond wig, his dark skin, and loose socks, he looks like a kogal, which is completely disturbing. At least he's wearing shorts/boxers underneath that skirt. Another pic of Heiji drooling, which looks... really wrong (it might be the hentai part of my mind though). There is a very cute pic of Shinichi and Ran holding hands while stargazing. Well, more like Ran stargazing and Shinichi Ran-gazing, *lol*. I feel kind of bad giving this such a low rating, but it's not really my cup of tea. I prefer the obviously romantic djs that focus on couples. Weird/crazy djs with a lot of characters don't really appeal to me.

Comments: This doujinshi has at least two artists, one of whom's style is very similar to Gosho's earlier Detective Conan art. Just look at the cover! You'd think he drew that himself. It's filled with several short stories mostly concerning Conan and Ran. Ai, Kaitou Kid, Shinichi, and Heiji all make cameos. One of the short stories is Conan walking in on Ran while she's crying in her sleep. The look of regret/sorrow on his face feels so heartbreaking. Unfortunately, the other stories are too hard for me to understand by art alone, thus the low rating.

Comments: The art is adorable. Several short stories. The first starts with Conan taking a bath when Ran comes in to join him. Nose bleed ensues. There's another when Shinichi surprises Ran and Conan with a visit. Of course, Conan freaks out, especially when Shinichi acts all lovey-dovey with him (Ran's stunned face is hilarious). Heiji comes for a visit, glomps Shinichi out of happiness, and gets punched out the window by Conan for some reason (Best guess: because he accused Conan of being a fraud instead of Shinichi). Ran gets mad at Shinichi and when she grabs him, it turns out that it was really Yukiko in disguise (Insert Ran grabbing Yukiko's boob and then fainting from the shock. Poor, poor Ran.*lol*). The very last comic: Ran buys clothes for Conan because they were on sale. The image of her holding up a pair of tighty-whities and looking all cute is just so, so wrong. Man, you gotta feel bad for this guy. This is one of those djs that has great repeat value. It's enjoyable looking at it again and again because of all the funny expressions.

Comments: Nice art. The main cast from the Magic Kaito manga all appear in this dj. It starts with Kaito and Aoko walking to school (Aoko bickering and Kaito teasing her as usual). Once in school, Kaito converses with Akako while Hakuba approaches Aoko inside the hallway. He notices a loose thread on Aoko's uniform, so he tugs it. Her clothes fall apart (Poor girl!). They both freak out and Aoko tries to cover herself. Hakuba quickly takes off his uniform jacket to shield her modesty, but there's still a bunch of guys looking. The boys' attention get diverted when a bunch of doves and roses appear in the air. Kaito whips a sheet around Aoko and turns her uniform back to normal. (Sure makes you wonder if he was the culprit behind her clothes falling apart. *suspicious*). The latter half of the dj concerns Kaitou Kid. I think it's about him confronting a Kaitou Kid imposter, but I can't be sure.

Comments: Multiple short stories and fanfics. Heiji's parents, Conan, Shinichi and Ran make cameos in several of them. A lot of the stories has Kazuha sleeping over. In this dj, it doesn't appear that HxK are a couple yet, so all the 'almost moments' are that much cuter, since it makes you want to root for them to finally do something. All of the art is appealing, but I especially enjoy Rin Tomoki's style (refer to art of Heiji getting punched). One of her stories has Kazuha going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and then slipping into Heiji's bed by mistake. His shocked expression is awesome. After calming down, he starts leaning over her when his mother opens the door and freaks him out. Angrily, he carries the sleeping Kazuha to her own bed. When her leg gets exposed through the opening of her yukata, Heiji quickly covers her with the blanket. Getting up to leave, he realizes he can't because she's clutching his sleeve. He begins to kiss her when he hears a noise and stops, thinking it's his mother again. Kazuha chooses this time to wake up. Upset, he starts shouting at her (but in a whisper, it is nighttime after all, and his parents are close by). Startled, Kazuha responds in a normal voice and Heiji hurries to shush her. Heizo walks in on the compromising scene of his son caging Kazuha down with his body and covering her mouth. Let's just say that Heizo is not pleased. *lol* There are quite a few stories in this dj, but that one was my favorite.

Comments: Sweet, sweet, sweet! Several connecting stories of Shinichi and Ran raising their relationship to the next level. There is a lot of cute, blushy moments, and the art is nice with a good use of screentones. Since there's so many pages, the story moves slowly, so there's a good build up to the romance. When it finally gets to the lemon, it doesn't feel rushed. It starts with Ran inviting Shinichi over since they'll be alone (his surprised blush is precious). While she's cleaning up the agency, he goes ahead up to her room, and blushes some more when he sees her bed. He inspects her room a bit before she joins him. They start kissing, but then when he kisses her really deeply (and getting a little um, grabby), Ran hits him with her pillow. Guess he moved a little too fast for her, *lol*. Second story, they go to the beach. Cute kiss and hug moments. Third story, lemon. It's steamy and sweet and explicit enough that it's clear what's going on, but it's not vulgar. This is definitely for adults only though. Plus points for Shinichi's devious face. The affection they feel for each other is there. Doujinshi like this makes all the effort finding and buying them worth it. This one is a total winner for any ShinRan fan.

Comments: Love triangle!!! (Heiji x Kazuha x Okita). A jealous Heiji, what could be better? A jealous Heiji with fangs, haha. This dj is all sorts of cute, and the art is fabulous, especially Rin Tomoki's (her art is on the back cover). In Tomoki's story, Kazuha bumps into Okita (if you guys remember him, he was Heiji's kendo rival. Refer to the DC manga, chapter 314). Kazuha sees Heiji talking to another girl and starts to cry. Okita sees this, and drags Kazuha to the cafe that Heiji and the girl went into, to make Heiji jealous. It works. The image of Heiji tugging on Kazuha's ponytail is too cute. The second story is by Hiko Takojoh (her art is on the front cover). It doesn't really make sense to me, but the art style is nice. Basically, the trio go to a restaurant during wintertime. There are some cute interactions between them all. It ends with Heiji and Okita walking home together companionably.

Comments: Shinichi x Ran and Heiji x Ai pairings. I'm not quite keen on the Heiji x Ai pairing, but it had ShinRan, so I bought it. The art is better than some of the other djs out there, but it's not stellar either. It's clean and uncomplicated, which I prefer. This dj is filled with several short stories regarding Valentine's Day and possibly White Day. There's a Sonoko cameo too. In one of them, Ran gives Shinichi a gift by hitting him on the head with it *lol*. Another story has Heiji spending some quiet time with Ai on a park bench (exciting stuff, huh?). There are some cute pics/moments in here: Ran wrestling Shinichi into a chokehold (his expression is hilarious), Conan holding Heiji's hand (the awkward look on Conan's face is so funny. Heiji appears to be fine with the situation though), Ai kissing Heiji, and Ai grabbing onto Heiji's head (it's very, very cute).
